Woods Home Improvements remodeling efforts will be featured on an upcoming November 18th, 2014 episode of HGTVs House Hunters. This episode is titled:
Two Sisters Disagree on Modern vs. Vintage in Chicago
We remodeled the vintage brownstone in Lincoln Square. The finished results were great. We’re looking forward to what the prospective homeowners have to say. We’ll be watching for the first time with you!
House Hunters 11-18-14
In the spirit of updating ourselves with new product, installation and business knowledge, we attended this year’s Remodeling Show and Deck Expo at McCormick Place in Chicago on October 17th and 18th. We picked up a wealth of knowledge and got to meet some great people showcasing new and innovative products that we know our customer’s will love. What a great opportunity to learn and grow. We look forward to bringing this new knowledge to our very next appointment!
Our 2013 season began with a request for new stair railings. We enjoy this because it allows us to showcase our creative side and to match the style of each individual house and owner. On the left, we created a stately entrance for a lovely one-story bungalow in River Forest and on the right is a little funkier rounded staircase for an artsy Forest Park home owner.
A dramatic new entrance to your
home can make all the difference.
During the winter months, Woods Home Improvements turns their attention to the great indoors. We have a special place in our hearts for flooring of all types: carpet installations, hardwood floor refinishes, new hardwood floor installations and ceramic tile. We carry a nice selection of carpets, hardwood and refinish stains and finishes sure to please your wallet. Give us a call at 708-488-9226 to find out how we can rock your house with a beautiful new look. We never charge for estimates and are pretty pleasant and courteous if we do say so ourselves.
Grant Woods and Woods Home Improvements will be volunteering their time and effort to assist the mission of the Oak Park Animal Care League through maintenance and construction work. The first job on the docket was to erect a partition wall with a new door to separate a stairway from the area where the kitties are housed. The goal is to reduce heat and cold drafts coming up the stairway. We can’t wait to see what is next!
