Woods Home Improvements closed its doors in 2015 after eleven wonderful years in business. This company was a labor of love and we keep the site going in tribute to all of the fantastic customers we served. It was an honor and a privilege. Thank you!

Woods Home Improvements was Featured on an Episode of House Hunters!!
“Two Sisters Disagree on Modern vs. Vintage in Chicago” Episode HNT-9301H
We remodeled the vintage brownstone in Chicago’s Lincoln Square including the following: installed new kitchen cabinets and granite counters as well as a new backsplash, completed the interior painting and installed new trim, refinished the hardwood floors, and installed a new vanity in the bathroom. The finished results were great. This condo was actually the property picked in the episode, and great comments were made about our work. Here is the video we made of this condo renovation:
Customer Comment …
They ordered a new outside french door for our house. Fitted it perfectly to the frame, added all hardware in addition to doing some extra handyman work like putting up a curtain rod on the door, etc. We called them back again to refinish an old maple kitchen table with leaves. They came & took the table apart, refinshed & varnished it at their shop and returned it looking beautiful where it was put back together in our kitchen. All of their work was exceptional. They called ahead, showed up when they said they would, gave me an estimate to the cost of work and it was close to the final payment, returned when they said they would be here & if delayed, they called to inform me. I would recommend their work to anyone. Everyone comments on how wonderful our table looks. They are professional, qualified and very talented.
